Projections and Reflections

I like the idea of being able to change images in their light form. The television is my favorite media.

These short video clips were all acheived with specially self developed filters that alter light passing through them. All analog techniques.

Like all works above this was created with my special effect screens in front of a television. NO computer graphic programm !

Approximately 1000 wooden cubes arranged in different heights and painted in different colors so that the colors reflex onto the cube next to it thus changing its original color.

Colors painted on the back side reflect back onto the front side. this is the back side.

Here are some examples of screens I use to convert Television Programs into Light Art. I also use mirror effects to alter the images altered by the screens. To take it a step further I then project the images again using a beamer onto warped mirrored surfaces.

The idea here is to be able to re arrange the original light into new compositions.
